Job Description:

Celestial AI is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to be part of our team and play a critical role in building and maintaining a world class IT infrastructure.

The IT team at Celestial is a global team of IT professionals who take up transformational technology initiatives and bring value to the business by creating a great work environment and a world class infrastructure for the engineers to be highly productive and efficient.

This is an on-site position with specific on-site schedules. This position may also require availability to resolve problems 24/7.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup, manage, maintain private cloud networking infrastructure
• Setup, manage, maintain 3-Tier storage infrastructure
  • Setup, manage, maintain Disaster Recovery infrastructure
  • Setup, manage, maintain backups
• Setup, manage and maintain servers at local colocation datacenter
• Optimize networking architecture for KVM VM cluster
• Optimize storage architecture for KVM VM cluster
• Scripting, automation, monitoring, support

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must be passionate about creating and maintaining IT infrastructure, versatile and flexible, team player, with a strong can-do mentality. Be a people person with great communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

• 5+ years of experience as an IT engineer in the industry
• Experience, in-depth knowledge of networking infrastructure, L1-L4
• Experience, in-depth knowledge of storage infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of computer system, computer cluster performance analysis, monitoring, optimization
• BS/MS/PhD in EE, CS, CE

As an early startup experiencing explosive growth, we offer an extremely attractive total compensation package, inclusive of competitive base salary and a generous grant of our valuable early-stage equity. The target base salary for this role is approximately $150,000.00 - $170,000.00. The base salary offered may be slightly higher or lower than the target base salary, based on the final scope as determined by the depth of the experience and skills demonstrated by candidate in the interviews.
