What You Can Expect

  • Develop and support EDA/home grown tools automation using Python and Perl.
  • Develop AI integration to existing tool and Integrate existing AI tools.
  • Support and develop source control (Git/GitHub), Unix setup and LSF grid scripting.
  • Understand end-to-end Frontend development EDA flow like Simulators, Waveforms, Linting and more.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated Frontend infrastructure CAD/tools Engineer to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting the frontend infrastructure tools used for development of VLSI chips. The Frontend infrastructure consist of tools and automation to support EDA tools/flows as well as home grown application , Unix environment configuration and Git/Github source control.

The role involve hand-on work with Python, Perl scripting, AI integration using LLM and RAG and integration of existing AI tools and IDE like DVT, Euclide and VScode.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in tools development and automation, Advantage for EDA flow development experience .
  • Hands-on experience in automation development in Python, Perl. Advantage for JavaScript, C/C++ and Web/PHP.
  • Ability to effectively develop and utilize AI tools and technologies and integrate them into existing flows/tools.
  • Knowledge of Pre Silicon frontend EDA flows is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in Verification, UVM and SV is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, great debug abilities and attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
