Your Team, Your Impact
As a Digital IC Design Senior Staff Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, As a Digital IC Design Senior Staff Engineer at Marvell, you will be part of the Central Engineering organization—the core hub that develops and delivers reusable IP solutions across multiple business units, including data center, networking, switching, and storage. In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of digital design flows, with a strong focus on high-performance SerDes IP. You will play a key role in improving engineering productivity, enabling scalable methodologies, and driving innovation through automation and AI-driven solutions.What You Can Expect
- Develop, enhance, and maintain digital design flows used for high-performance SerDes IP development.
- Create and optimize automation frameworks to improve design productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support IP development across multiple business units.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to improve coding efficiency, design methodologies, and tool automation.
- Support integration and usage of EDA tools for simulation, synthesis, STA, and debugging activities.
- Design and maintain internal web-based tools and dashboards for engineering workflows and data visualization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design flow issues in a Linux-based development environment.
- Contribute to methodology development, documentation, and best practices for digital design and verification.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Degrees in Mathematics, Physics, or other sciences will be considered with relevant coursework or industry experience in electronics.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Perl, PHP, and/or Makefile.
- Experience or familiarity with integrating AI/ML techniques into coding, automation, or engineering workflows.
- Knowledge of SerDes IP design concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with web application design and development.
- Proficiency working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of RTL design concepts using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools, including simulation, synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and debug tools.
Expected Base Pay Range (CAD)
