Your Team, Your Impact

As a test development principal engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will make sure we don’t ship out any underperforming units. You’ll work closely with design to make sure their chip features are testable and that the results meet the customer’s specifications. You may even have to write new code or develop new testing strategies when our chips outpace the capabilities of current testing equipment.

What You Can Expect

• Demonstrated strong test engineering concepts by utilizing ATE as a tool to develop and implement test solutions, bringing up from the engineering phase to production.

• Experience in load board design, drive HW design team, and debugged hardware on high-speed test development.

• Develop test code, characterization, production, and wafer sort test programs experiences.
• Create all the documentation for test plans and test methodologies to meet product specifications and delivery schedule.
• Test pattern conversion from design simulation environment to ATE format.
• Play a lead role of flowing test standardization, test flow optimization, test time reduction, yield improvement, and test program release procedure.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of test program development experience on the Advantest 93K ATE and/Teradyne tester platform.

• Experience in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process, DFT/DFM, and High-speed interface testing, Mixed-signal testing, and Security provisioning test development.

• Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, transparency, and communication skills.

• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

136,880 - 205,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.


This role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.
