  • Prepare high-quality, endotoxin-free plasmid DNA (mini-, midi-, and maxipreps) from bacterial cultures for transfection
  • Monitor cell health, viability, and growth kinetics
  • Perform routine cell-based assays (e.g., viability assays, titer estimation, expression screening)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records in electronic lab notebooks
  • Support inventory management of cell culture reagents and maintain aseptic technique and biosafety compliance
  • Contribute to SOP development and workflow optimization as needed

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture
  • Demonstrated experience with transient transfection workflows
  • Experience preparing transfection-grade plasmid DNA
  • Strong aseptic technique and understanding of cell culture best practices
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Physical Work Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods standing, reaching and bending while working in the lab
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
