Osmo is seeking a Social Media Coordinator (Contract) to capture and create content that brings our fragrance house (Generation by Osmo), collaborators, and culture to life across platforms. This is a hybrid role based in NYC, with 1-2 days per week spent filming in our office and lab. You’ll manage day-to-day content creation and publishing for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn - with a focus on video, graphic design, storytelling, and community connection. This role is part-time (15-18 hours/week) with potential to expand in scope.
You will report to the Brand & Content Lead and work closely with our design and marketing teams to translate the creative and scientific capabilities of Generation by Osmo into consistent, platform-native content.
Key Responsibilities
Capture video and photo content in-office (1–2x per week) to execute daily posts around campaigns, launches, and ongoing storytelling.
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, LinkedIn).
Schedule and publish video and static posts across social platforms, adapting tone and style for each channel.
Coordinate recurring content series like “Ask a Perfumer” in collaboration with Generation’s perfumery team.
Execute graphic design and editing to share press, media coverage, and science-driven storytelling in digestible formats.
Respond to DMs, comments, and inbound leads; pass qualified opportunities to the internal team.
Track content performance and report weekly insights.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of work experience in social media content creation, production, or digital storytelling.
Proven ability to capture and edit video content for mobile-first formats.
Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn content trends and publishing tools.
Strong visual and content sensibility. You know what makes someone stop scrolling.
Self-directed, proactive communicator who thrives in creative environments.
Detail-oriented writer and editor who can modify/repackage content for multiple channels.
Can be on-site in NYC 1-2 times per week.

Salary Range: $55-$75/hour
