Who we are at Osmo:
Osmo is a digital olfaction company, on a mission to give computers a sense of smell to improve the health and wellbeing of human life. Why? Our sense of smell both enriches and saves lives, and has a deep and direct connection to our emotions and memory.
Olfactory Intelligence has applications across industries including fragrance, manufacturing, security, medicine, and more. We believe in the power of automation and thoughtfully applied AI/ML to solve problems beyond the reach of human intuition alone. Osmo is headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ, with an additional office in Somerville, MA.
Role Summary
Osmo is hiring an Enterprise Program Manager to own the operating cadence, execution, and cross-functional coordination for major enterprise partnerships. This role owns the timing, sequencing, and delivery of strategic enterprise workstreams — turning agreed scope into executed milestones across commercial, fragrance development, ML, sensory, and executive teams.
This is a customer-facing program role for someone who can create structure in ambiguity, drive accountability across teams, and keep complex enterprise workstreams moving.
Core Responsibilities
Own day-to-day program management for strategic enterprise accounts, including timelines, agendas, action items, decision logs, and stakeholder follow-ups.
Serve as a primary customer-facing operator, translating enterprise partner goals into internal workstreams, milestones, and success criteria.
Coordinate across commercial, fragrance development, machine learning, sensory, and executive teams.
Maintain clear project documentation, canonical plans, and partner-facing updates.
Support pilot planning, demo readiness, scope expansion, and commercialization discussions.
Required Experience
3–5+ years of program management experience, ideally in a technical, product, R&D, or enterprise partnership environment.
Direct experience working with large enterprise customers in a customer-facing capacity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready updates and meeting materials.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional work without direct authority.
Software or data product experience is required. In addition, candidates should have experience in at least one of the following: flavor/fragrance (or adjacent categories like specialty chemicals, ingredients, beauty, personal care), or manufacturing/operations.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with R&D-heavy workflows, technical pilots, sensory science, formulation, AI/ML products, or lab-based development.
Success Profile
The ideal candidate is highly organized, commercially aware, and comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams. They can turn ambiguous customer asks into clear execution plans, build trust with senior stakeholders, and reduce operational friction across fast-moving workstreams.
What Great Looks Like
Decision-forcing under ambiguity. Enterprise programs accumulate unresolved tradeoffs that quietly compound. A strong PM surfaces the actual blocker, frames the tradeoff with options and owners, and drives a kill-or-commit — rather than running clean status reports around the rot.
Counterparty fluency. They operate inside the customer's org with the same fidelity as their own — mapping budget vs. influence vs. veto, identifying who is a real sponsor vs. a polite observer, and translating customer-side dysfunction into internal direction without becoming a complaint conduit.
Commercial instinct. They read the contract, not just the plan. They know what is billable, what is gated to milestones, what triggers expansion or renewal, and what scope creep costs in margin and precedent. Delivery PMs protect the timeline; enterprise PMs protect the deal.
Base Salary: $158k - 196k
