Predicta is building a molecular insights platform for blood cancer care. From a single blood sample, we generate longitudinal genomic and immune insights that help clinicians and researchers better understand disease biology, guide treatment decisions, and monitor disease evolution over time.
As we expand our clinical testing capabilities, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated Clinical Lab Scientists (I/II/III) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, thrive in a dynamic startup environment, and play a key role in delivering impactful diagnostic results that drive better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high complexity testing under CLIA regulations, including sample accessioning, cell isolation, cell sorting, NGS workflows, QC, and data review.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs, regulatory standards, and quality control protocols.
- Participate in assay validation, verification, and documentation of laboratory-developed tests.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist in the development and refinement of laboratory procedures and workflows.
- Maintain complete and accurate records in accordance with CLIA and other regulatory standards.
- Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Support efforts toward CAP accreditation through accurate documentation and quality practices.
- Collaborate closely with assay development and data analysis teams to ensure seamless handoff and testing execution.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technologists as needed.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a clinical laboratory setting (CLIA/CAP certified lab) or 2+ years in a non CLIA lab.
- Preferred experience with immunology/flow cytometry and/or next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows in a clinical or research setting.
- Strong working knowledge of molecular diagnostic techniques and regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP).
- Experience participating in assay validations and implementing quality control measures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, startup environment and manage multiple priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 plus a 10% bonus opportunity. Predicta considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, skills, education, qualifications, and geographic location. Actual compensation will vary, and it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Additional rewards include equity, flexible time off, 401k Plan, medical, dental and vision plans that are 90% paid by Predicta and a partially company funded HSA.
