Description

The Sales Manager will create and execute sales and service plans. This role is also responsible for the top-line sales in the Rocky Mountains area – UT, CO, WY, ID, and MT, while maintaining overall margin targets.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the formulation and execution of sales and plans for the assigned territory.
  • Support and often lead Business development efforts with Telecom and Oil & Gas companies.
  • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, as well as develop new customers.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Maintain and enhance Qnergy’s image and reputation with customers, distributors, suppliers, and the public at large.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts for Qnergy while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Work closely with distributors to ensure full support in markets; continuous evaluation of performance of distributors; initiation of any required changes in distributors.
  • Increase overall awareness of Qnergy products by travelling to facilitate face-to-face contact, participate in industry trade shows, field visits and other promotional methods as required.
  • Process customer purchase orders, including review and approval of conversion of PO into internal sales orders.

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, Technical Sales, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of previous outside sales experience.
  • Proven track record of successful sales strategy and execution.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including driving, standing and/or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.
