Job Summary: The US Sales Manager will be responsible for direct and indirect sales throughout the U.S. as well as leading and managing the US sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives in areas that are currently not covered by the company sales team.
  • Directly and indirectly (through distributors) sell to Oil and Gas customers throughout the U.S.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to maximize their performance and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on the oil and gas sector.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing a sales team .

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Advanced negotiation skills to close deals and secure favorable terms.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and senior management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Work Environment:

  • Location flexible, with a preference for Ogden, Utah.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively.
