WHY VEIR?
Giving everyone in the world access to clean, reliable, affordable energy will require substantial expansion of global electricity transmission networks. VEIR is developing a new generation of High Temperature Superconductor (HTS)-based transmission lines, enabling long distance, reliable, low loss, cost–effective power transfer in far smaller right–of–ways. VEIR’s innovations overcome the main barriers to transmission expansion, enabling the world to access the very lowest cost renewable power.
THE ROLE:
VEIR is seeking a passionate and curious Associate Test Engineer to join our growing team. This role is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced research and development environment, working alongside our talented engineers to build the next generation of VEIR prototypes.

  • Prior experience in a laboratory or research environment (internships or research projects a plus).
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals (mechanics, electricity).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • A keen interest in learning and growing within the field of engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
